Day-trip Amsterdam Around

11.00 – 12.30: Sandwich lunch. The day-trip starts with a sandwich lunch (or late breakfast) in a typical, cosy Amsterdam grand café or artisanal bakery located in the heart of the city. The Lunch/brunch may vary depending on the availability of locations, but may include: four petit pains with jam and butter, farmhouse cheese, gruyère and free-range ham, a croissant or brioche; fresh fruit, coffee or tea and freshly squeezed orange juice.

12.30 – 14.00: Walking excursion. After your lunch your guides will pick you up for a walking excursion criss-cross through the city. The excursion can be historical but maybe you want to visit the famous Red Light District or go to the Jordaan quarter. Just let us know and we will make a walking excursion custom-made. Of course your local experts will give you extensive background information.

14.15 – 15.15: roundtrip through the 17th century canals. Next you will board a roundtrip boat to go for a one hour cruise through the canals. The roundtrip passes all important high lights of the city. From the boat you see other things than during the walking excursion.

15.15 – 18.00: free time or extra item. You now have enough background information to explore the city on your own. If you like we are happy to tell you nice shopping areas or how to get to the major museums. Of course you can also enjoy the many cafés or terraces of the city. Please ask for suggestions.

The above mentioned time schedule is an indication. You can decide for yourselves at what time you would like to start the program. You sail with a roundtrip boat that is reserved for your company, information will be given via the sound equipment. You can reserve catering and/ or a private guide on board for extra charges. Please ask about the possibilities.
