Personal data that we process
Local Experts Amsterdam processes your personal data by using our services or by purchasing services from you. We only process data that you provide to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

• First and last name / gender (if necessary) / age (if necessary) / address details
• Telephone number / E-mail address / bank account number
• VAT number, Chamber of Commerce number (if required)

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
We have no intention of collecting personal data about (website) visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without your permission as a parent/guardian, please contact us at info@local-experts.com and we will off course remove this information.

For what purpose we process personal data
Local Experts Amsterdam processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• Carrying out your assignment
• Processing your payment
• To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary in order to carry out our services
• Inform you about changes to our services and products
• Fulfilling our legal obligations

Automated decision-making
Local Experts Amsterdam does not make decisions on the basis of automated processing on matters that may have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without a person (for example an employee of Local Experts Amsterdam) being involved.

How long we retain personal data
Local Experts Amsterdam does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected and to which we are bound in order to comply with our legal obligations. We apply the following retention periods:

• After the execution of an order we keep your name, address, telnr, email, bank transfer for the legally prescribed period.
• In the event that you make a request for information that does not result in the reservation of a programme, your details will be removed from our administration system immediately after you have indicated that you are not making use of our services.
• Data from regular clients will remain in our system until we receive your request for deletion.

Sharing personal data with third parties
Your details may be made available to a third party if this is necessary for the performance of the contract:

• Taking care of the internet environment;
• Taking care of the (financial) administration.

We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We do not sell your data to third parties

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
We use Google Analytics to gain insight into the use of the website. This is processed for this purpose:

• Location data
• Information about your activities on our website
• Internet browser and device type

We only use technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and for your ease of use. They also enable us to optimise our website.

We do not use 'behavioural targeting' which allows you to see special content based on your click behaviour; your surfing behaviour remains completely anonymous. Data from contact forms are never processed or stored in Analytics.

IP addresses are masked and data is not shared.
We have set up Google Analytics in accordance with privacy legislation, so that no prior consent of the user is required. Local Experts has a processing agreement with Google. In addition, Google Analytics has been set up in such a way that IP addresses are made anonymous, so that data can never be traced back to you or your IP address. Furthermore, no information is shared with Google or other parties from the Analytics account of Local Experts. This makes the Analytics cookie of Local Experts a non-privacy sensitive first-party cookie that is needed to guarantee the quality and security of Local Experts.

If you prefer to block the Analytics script completely, you can download an opt-out plugin for Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. With this plugin, your visit no longer counts towards the statistics of all websites that use Google Analytics.

Viewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Local Experts Amsterdam. You may send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data processing of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@local-experts.com. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Burgerservicenummer (BSN) black. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Local Experts Amsterdam would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Personal Data Authority.

How we secure personal data
Local Experts Amsterdam takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
