Islands and Canals

During this cruise we combine the beautiful old city with modern architecture on the islands of the Eastern Docklands. It’s a spectacular tour along the best of two worlds; alternating new and less known parts of Amsterdam with the intimacy of historical buildings and warehouses along old canals.

We welcome you on board of a historical ship fitted with all modern conveniences. We leave from Central Station and than sail to the Eastern Docklands with the harbour islands. Here modern architecture attracts international attention. From the water we have a magnificent view of the colourful houses, small canals and impressing new buildings of this former harbour area.

Than we sail to the old parts of Amsterdam, via 17th century islands, a shipyard and warehouses to the river Amstel with its beautiful view on bridges, houseboats and old ‘leaning’ houses. On our way back we pass the medieval and very lively heart of the city sailing through some of the oldest canals of Amsterdam.
